[BUG] Manual entry does not work in the ‘Assigned User’ field in the ‘Assignment’ section on the ‘Create New Customer’ page.

Description

Environmen: Staging.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Open the ‘Create New Customer’ page.
  2. Scroll to the ‘Assignment’ section.
    3.Try to manually enter any name into the ‘Assigned User’ field.

Expected Result:

  1. The ‘Assigned User’ field should allow manual input.
  2. The ‘Assigned User’ field should also allow selection from the dropdown list.

Actual Result:

  1. The ‘Assigned User’ field does not allow manual input.
  2. The ‘Assigned User’ field allows selecting only four items from the dropdown list.

Environment: Staging.

Actual Result:
All acceptance criteria have been met.

There is wrong logic:
When we create a new Customer we cannot add an Assigned User (a user with the Customer role) because a User with the Customer role must be created first — and when creating that User we are required to specify the Customer for whom the user is created. From this it follows that the correct flow is:

  1. Create a Customer without an Assigned User.
  2. Create a User (with the Customer role) and specify the Customer created in step 1.
  3. Update the Customer to add the Assigned User created in step 2.

Therefore, I conclude that the 'Assigned User' field on the Create New Customer form is useless.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Open 'Create New Customer' page.
  2. Fill the fields:
    Customer Name: Customer test 11/06(1),
    Assigned User: Olena Customer (),
    Email (Contact Details):
    Country: United Kingdom
